11月9日 Getting on trackI was pretty impressed by nine news tonight in the fact that people have taken up concern with the desalination plant that was a recent development in the water problem for Queensland. I was glad to see that it had no detrimental effects on the immediate area. The fish and coral loved it. So next you would think about what I said about salt levels making the polar caps melt. I think I would be fairly right in saying that the higher the salt levels in the water the colder the water has to be for the ice not to melt. Having the fish and coral thrive on the brine from the desalination plant shows that they do filter the salt in the water. The trick is getting the balance right that this incredibly complex ecosystem relies on. We need to keep coral reefs healthy that would do the bulk of the work of keeping salt levels down, we have to keep the numbers of fish in the open parts of the sea at a reasonable level as they do what the reefs miss and stop the emissions that are melting the land based ice packs and snow. A massive and complex task. It is doable. Abraham Lincoln made agreements that started with small percentages dealing with the Southern states to get equality for the slaves. Once established the plight of anti slavery forwarded in leaps and bounds. Once an agreement has been established on climate change it too can go forward in leaps and bounds. To respond to demands and results that is. There is a long way to go and yes there will be a few bumps in the road. All we need to do is start though. Now is a good time as any. I never expect any one to believe in each and everything I say, but by now I should have a little credibility. Taking all things into consideration (that deals with your topic) to make the best possible solution, that is important. 10月15日 I think someone saidHe is wrong about the reefs and it's bleaching. Is that right? What is phenol formally known as carbolic acid and calcium carbonate? Both have a lot of carbon in them. 10月12日 What ever happened to Chris?I know this might sound like same old stuff but I think that my T.V. has nothing but shows that have been repeated quite a few times now. I mentioned Chris from the Chris Rock show as I have seen the episode where he begs not to be stabbed a number of times now and leaves me wondering where is the rest of the episodes. There is a lot of talent around but Chris Rock has been voted on a number of occasions as one of the best. It is a shame but I was looking forward to seeing which direction he took in his still blossoming career. I hope I had nothing to do with not being able to see his show. All I said was even if you think you have made it you still have to be careful of who you are making fun of. I hope he makes a come back. By watching Jay Leno I don't think Compton would be a good place to do Jay Walking. I think Forbes should do something about making it known that white people do not hold all of the wealth in the world. Every race has it's millionaire and billionaire clubs and none of them go out of their way to put any over generous amounts of money to their fellow citizens of their nations. There are a lot of white people that are struggling to get by financially as well. Rush Limbob should be made aware that South Africa has been run by the blacks for quite sometime and I don't know if I am looking in the wrong places but white people still seem to exist there. They would not be happy at the direct lose of power but hopefully their children will see that all that stuff like apartheid was basically paranoia and the delusional legacy of Hitler. I am not real impressed with the fact that the U.S. wants to blow up the moon. I hope they realise that it most likely will change the moon's orbit it should be declared protected land of some sort. Blasting holes in it will only prove that man is reckless and destructive and the need to put the people's who's idea it was at ground zero to get the best possible view of doing something which is pretty darn stupid. I wasn't really concerned about the particle accelerator business because they had collided many a particle before and it didn't have any real dangerous outcomes. Changing the moons orbit is a much more serious outcome. People should be fairly concerned about it. The conservative Bible just sums up how people don't care about the original truth of the bible. they seem to be more interested as to how it can serve their own purpose, normally to do with money. I remember at the last lotto draw that was advertised a catholic priest protesting that it was too much of an amount. Well it depends on what it goes to. If they want to buy weapons or drugs well of course it is but if they want to donate sums of money or use it to contribute in a positive way how could it be anything but not enough? 7月23日 The paths to successI know it seems like the amended bill Mr Stewart was talking about on his show got knocked down a few pegs but I have a feeling that it was set in it’s original format for that exact reason. When the older generation gets upstaged by a kid they tend to get a little emotional. It could have been perfectly set for the exact numbers to achieve the perfect result and they wouldn’t have voted for it. Some politicians sometimes do not even consider what their electorate wants and for some strange reason vote with their ego’s. The bill would still be a remarkable feat to achieve even in it’s slightly watered down form. It is the first steps to achieving necessary measures that will lead to not only fair trade practices but a more favourable conditioning for the environment. Our nature sustains us in more ways than one. Hopefully when Copenhagen comes around and is succesful with America being the standard bearer for the terms that is for the environment. 6月25日 A touch of xenophobia perhaps? Now why treat the Federal Government as the stranger to environmental policy? Unless the coalition has an alternate model for the environmental policies needed to maintain a healthy environment they should stop dragging their feet. There are a number of models to follow all they have to do is forward one to debate against the government. It can not be that hard surely? The fact is the opposition that came second in the election (number 2’s) wants to follow the U.S. on environmental policy. Why don’t you just admit it that you don’t want to do it because you don’t want to? 6月1日 We are not on our Pat MaloneHas the rest of the developed world not already put some estimates on the table? The only thing that most of the other nations would be discussing is the locking in of their emissions and the numbers that they officially want to achieve. Heck there are countries that already have legislation for their ETs. We have nothing, and with the legislation put forward by Labour helped through by rational thinking the changes would only be in fine print. Going the distance on the environment is not just Australia’s concern but the world. The Liberals seem to be worried about what it will do to business and nothing else. The objective is to make it possible for business to be sustainable during and after the transition to a greener and more sustainable global environmental situation. Where is the senator that was the Murray Darling hero? Only care when it suites them. Another thing that the opposition says that really annoys me is that they say Mr Rudd is doing it on his own. He was voted in as a politician that would tackle the situation that is the environment. Is the opposition saying that the majority of the voting public just going against the grain? 5月26日 As per usualThe Coalition I am sure only show up to do their job only for the money. To me what seems as a waste of tax payers money. Why is there need to delay the scheme and the voting publics want of a green future on the road as soon as possible. They have had more than enough time to come up with topics to debate about but all they seem to do is waste time uming and aring about topics that can not be changed as easily as they make out. The Greens for example should be ashamed of themselves as that is what their whole party is about but they want to delay? Is it too much work for you? Maybe as you do not have what it takes to make environmental policies you should pack up your so called Green credentials and hit the road. At this stage of the game the Green party is looking somewhat shabby. It has been on the table for quite some time but you have no idea of what the scheme needs to be? I think that they should have a really hard think about what it is they are actually doing in politics. The voting public voted for green changes at the last election. I suggest that the public in the seats of the Coalition and Green electorates get to lobbying and make them get active on climate change now. Don’t let them make a mockery of the democratic process that made ETS that was brought up as election issue and voted in as something we need to make changes for. It was not that long ago that the leader of the Green party said he wanted all that climate change stuff overnight, what happened to that? No wonder people dislike politicians most of them are full of rubbish and a waste of tax payers money (like the current opposition). 5月25日 Copenhagen 2009I find it remarkable that the opposition wants to wait for America to pave the way for us. But they are reluctant to take on any of the other ideas that America has launched to stimulate its economy. I guess it is easy to pick and choose to be opposite of everything both governments are doing to rectify the biggest problems of this and future generations have and will see. The people from the 20/20 summit would have good ideas worth pursuing for the issues facing the environment and it would be nice to see them acknowledged for their efforts. 5月15日 Extreme GreenTo say we need to jump to a ridiculous amount of pollution causing practises is one thing but to expect those industries to go to bed one night in their current polluting job and to wake up and into the more environmentally sound practises that the government has put forward is completely ridiculous and impossible. It would be a horrible wreck on the economy and would be disastrous for everyone. It has to be done in stages so that business can adjust and plan for. I hope we get good coverage from Copenhagen when the time comes. Not saying that the news coverage is bad. I personally would like a few more details as to how we measure up against the other nations of the world. 12月20日 Economic envirobilityIf you think about the strategy put forward by the Federal government, the money to the companies is more like what it is titled "compensation" than you would realise. Compensation why? Because traditional methods are being out dated. If those green extremists were serious about tackling environmental problems they would look into the degrees at universities like environmental engineering worth big money instead of being dragged out of places looking like little children throwing temper tantrums. The thing about the target being between 5% and 15% is that there is nothing stopping it from going by actual results and achieving higher scores than that, once ground measures are established. If anyone knows what disgruntled union people can do especially if you remove them from their jobs, it is me, even though I am a member they continue to rob me of my trade and actively campaign to remove me from my job as a cleaner. I would have been getting qualified at uni doing a degree myself if the unions in their infinite wisdom decided to rob me of my career from the age of 15. Just powering all the outback towns and properties with solar arrays will cut emissions dramatically. I wonder what that would do to the target score? Back to Anna Bligh, when Jesus meets you at the end of your life I hope Jesus wears cleats to stamp his approval of your perversion of law and truth all over your head and uses a cricket bat to show you how funny sodomizing an innocent man is by doing it you, the good book does after all say do unto others as you would do unto you. Guess what I cannot wait for it to be your turn the funny thing is you actually committed crimes to receive that abuse and you will have an eternity to receive it, happy cricketing. |
